I have camped with family and friends at Beaverkill and Little Pond State Campgrounds for over 30 years. We passed the castle countless times but never knew anything about it. | Message | I've known and seen this castle for 47 years and it's slow decline is truly a shame. The caretaker (late 60's, early 70's) used to give tours and tell stories. Unfortunately I was too young to remember them but it was a highlight of my yearly vacations nearby. I would love to get permission to photograph the place. |
