MessageHi Andy...(its been a very long time, you may remember me as Amanda Schmitt)
I received your link from Kathy Kinane last night and so bummed to hear about your setback. From what I see on here and know about your family, I am certain you will prevail and beat this once and for all! Its not easy to keep your attitude upbeat, but I hope you do and from my family to yours, sending lots of energy and prayers your waysmilie

MessageI am Courtney's Florida cousin and met you at her wedding (although quickly!). So with this, we are kind of related in a new millennium sort of way. Please know that I pray for you constantly. I also have a team of faithful prayer warriors who are also lifting you and your family. We are all strong believers in Jesus Christ who is our Redeemer, Creator, and Healer and we pray for healing, guidance and wisdom for the medical care community helping you. Keep strong and keep focused.

I can do everything through Christ who gives me strength.

MessageHi Andy! I am so sorry that you are having to go through more of this. It really stinks. It sounds like you are doing the right thing by evaluating other options. I know with the help of your support system you will make the best decision for you. Stay strong. You can beat this thing. It is just going to take a little longer and be a little tougher than you thought. You are in our thoughts every day.
We really appreciate the updates on the Blog. We know you and your family are overwhelmed with the day to day of this and it is nice to be able to "check" on you. Keep your chin up. Bill & Kathy

MessageHey Andy,

I hope that you are keeping your head up. Sorry for the recent setback. I have been following your progress since the beginning and have been really inspired by your upbeat and positive attitude. You are a strong guy and I am confident that you will make it through this.

I remember that when you were playing on the Princeton Tennis Team, everyone joked that you were their cheerleader. Whenever you were done with your match, you always went to the other courts to cheer on your teammates. Now, we are all cheering for you.

Take Care! We are thinking of you.

MessageHi Andy: I know this latest news comes unexpected and is a bit disheartening, but I believe in your strength to fight as hard as you have been fighting. While I am sure everything seems uncertain right now, the one thing you can be sure of is that you have so many people pulling for you and sending you positive energy and prayers. We miss you here in Steamboat and want you back, and as far as I can tell the Steamboat folks are all strong-willed and don't take no for an answer smilie. On a lighter note, I pulled a bonehead move at Marie's cardio tennis on Saturday and tore my gastrock where it inserts into the achilles... and the shot wasn't even that great!!!!! It was really embarrassing when CJ Burger and John Bender had to CARRY ME OUT OF THE TENNIS CENTER!!!!
The girls season is getting geared up to start up with the first match being here the week-end of Mar 6th. Other than that, same ol' here in the 'boat. Please lean on us and let us know if there is anything we can do for you from here. YOU ARE GOING TO BEAT THIS LIKE WE ALL KNOW YOU CAN REALLY BEAT MARIE IN TENNIS...(hahaha Marie smilie) smilie

MessageHi Andy,
Steamboat is missing you lots too. Marie is working us hard and we're learning a lot, but it's not the same without you. The skiing has been great too. You're in our thoughts and prayers that you beat the cancer so you can come home soon. Wishing you nothing but the best with lots of love.

MessageHey Andy,
So we have been remiss in staying in touch, but the new blog from you did get my attention. We wish we had some magic pill for you but all we can say is that we're pulling for you 100 percent. Steamboat is here waiting for you whenever you are ready. I have been ignoring tennis in favor of working on my Tellie skiing. Nothing changes much here. We either have more snow or more sun. It's sooo depressing. Know that we think of you often and hope things go well. Thanks for sharing with us. We miss you. All our best. Sue and Ted smilie smilie
