MessageHey Andy! I just voice-mailed your Mom. You are in our thoughts constantly. It is good to be considering other options. You have some difficult choices to make in the next few days. With such supportive parents, I know you will make the right decision and can then move forward. Bill, Mandy, Eric and I are all cheering you on! Know that we care and will be following your progress! Luv ya! Kathy

I am glad to hear that you are going to seek some other opinions. It is good to hear from different thought leaders, and really get all the information you need to make a decion on a treatment. Mary and I are thinking of you every day. Have safe travels to Huston.

MessageHi Andy,

I'm sorry to hear about the cancer coming back. I know this must be becoming more and more difficult for you and your family.. But my family and I are really cheering for you to make it through this. Personally, I think your going to make it through it because you still have all those goals to accomplish.. Those sound like very desirable things to do, and I think they will help you stay strong through these difficult times. The McCarthy family is really pulling for you bud, and we can't wait for you to "kick this cancer's ass"

I also wanted to share with you something I think you might find a funny. I have a picture of you and I outside of a tennis court at Lunken when I was like seven or eight years old. (I think it was your mom who sent the picture to me). I remember being upset after you beat me really bad. But I remember being cheered up afterwards when you explained to me that I had "a good tennis birthday." I didn't know what that exactly meant at the time, but it seemed to turn my frown, upside down.

Andy, your in my thoughts and prayers-Stay strong

Andrew McCarthy

MessageHey Andy,

We are so bummed to hear the news. We are always thinking of you.

We have some very close family friends that just spent 4 months down at MD Anderson in Houston. I would love to get you in contact with them if you would like some first hand knowledge of the care they received. I am sure they would be happy to share their experience with you and help any way they can.

Keep up the hard work and know that you have tons and tons of support!

XOXO, Gillian and Michael
