| Message | Andy, I think about you often and constantly admire the strength you display through your blog postings. I struggle with how to respond to the latest obstacle placed in front of you. I dont want to minimize the significance of it or the inevitable disappointment that it brings nor do I want to magnify it out of proportion. I guess at some point you just acknowledge and accept it and move forward as you have always done with grace and courage. Just know that you have an incredible network of support (kind of like that Verizon commercial maybe!!) and prayers from your friends and family that you can always count on. | Message | Hi Andy. I'm not sure that you will remember me, but I am Mary Grieser's sister. I met you at the wedding in Roanoke, VA. Mary has been giving me updates on how you are doing and I just wanted to let you know that I am praying for you and ask others to put you in their prayers. I know that you have a lot going on, but if I can give you any advice which I learned from my grandmother who died of cancer in July 2007 - try to stay as positive as you can and do whatever you have to do to try to beat this cancer. My grandmother had that go for it attitude and was so positive through out her trial with cancer. They originally gave her less than 6 months to live and she actually was blessed with another 5 years to be in our lives. My family attributes her positive attitude, willingness to stay active and put all of her trust in the lord. I'll keep you in our prayers and look forward to reading your updates as you get them.
