MessageI read Andy's words and was moved to action. His story reinforced to me the importance of spreading the word about protecting one's skin from the sun. I wish for your family that his journey would have ended differently.

MessageI was linked to this site through the article in Cincinatti Enquirer. After reading about the organization and Andy's blogs, I realized how little I knew about melanoma. To make it worse, I am that fair-skinned blonde type that easily burns...and play tennis frequently. Though I've always known excessive sun exposure was dangerous, I never felt a serious need to wear sunscreen unless I was on the beach...until I read Andy's story.
His message has gotten across to me... I will definitely start wearing sunblock when Im out on the courts...and will advise my other players to do the same. What an amazing thing Andy did by trying to educate others through his experience. And to see the foundation continuing to do his work...that's awesome!

MessageAndy, you just continue to surprise and amaze me! What a cool thing you are doing with your non-profit. Life is busy right now as we are moving next week and I don't have time to look into it until after we move but I am looking forward to reading about it and am grateful that your passion will lead to so much good for others. My prayers continue for you as you fight your fight.

Blessings!
