| Message | I was assigned to USS Bagley FF-1069 USS Chicago CG-11, USS Florikan ASR-9, Navcommsta San Diego, CA, NTCC Silver Strand @ Navphibase Coronado, CA., Navy Instructor RM "A" school, NTC San Diego, CA and worked as a civilian instructor, San Diego Community Colege District @ RM C-7 School from 1982-1994. I am especially proud of the fact I had an impact on the careers of over 5,000 RADIOMEN while serving as a technical instructor.  |

Jan-March 1957 Class "A" Radioman School-Bainbridge Md. 1957 USS Cormorant MSC 122 - Sasebao, Japan '57 - 58 USS CONSTANT MSO 427 - Long Beach Calif til 12-59 Went in on a "Kitty" cruise; two days before my 18th birthday and was discharged just before my 21 birthday. I had passed the RM2 test but was discharged before the new rank took effect. Spent a few more months in the reserves and got to sew on my RM2 patch for just a short time. Would like to hear from any of my old shipmates. |
