MessageI have had the honor of being Dixie's mama for the past 3 years, but she has been my boyfriend's baby since he got her 11 years ago. She holds all of his memories in her heart. I hope that she will feel no pain and know how loved she is when it is her time. I know one day we will see her again. She is one in a million.

BreedLABRADOR

Type of CancerCT MASS CELL TUMOR
MessageMy little girl is 5 1/2 years old right now, and is the bravest little girl I have ever met, Not only was she diagnosed with Diabetes a little less than two years ago, the Diabetes unfortunately progressed and made Maggie go blind one day, due to cataracts and a rare case of Uveitis. I elected to have retinal replacement surgery for Maggie, who went through the operation with out any complaints and can see again....which I have to say was the most amazing thing I ever participated in. Maggie then came down with a thyroid issue that has made parts of her hair fall out, that is now under control as well. But now Maggie was diagnosed with a CT mass cell cancerous tumor, she was operated on just today, and the surgery went well as could be expected. Now we will begin yet another road to recovery for this unstoppable Labrador.

Type of CancerLymphoma
MessageMy family and I just found out today that our family dog has Lymphoma. It's heartbreaking news as she is only 4, and will be 5 this year. I have been reading about the treatment options but we are seeing an oncologist next week. I really wish she would just get better. I have never had to experience something like this and I really don't know how to deal with it. It's really hard. Please send prayers and positive thoughts to Tess. I just can't imagine my life without her. I love her so much.

MessageLola suffers from immune disease but now it looks as though she may have brain cancer. She is not responding very well to cyclosproine so she is also on prednisone. She is only five years old and is a very sweet, smart dog. Does anyone know a support group for brain cancer in dogs? Thanks for you warm thoughts for Lola.

MessagePlease pray for my dear Honey Bear. He has a suspected cancerous growth on his hind leg. After losing my mom to cancer in 2004, I am reminded of the preciousness that I felt for having each and every day to spend with her after her diagnosis. I feel this overwhelming sense of urgency to LOVE COMPLETELY and LIVE IN THE MOMENT. We are meeting with a surgeon tomorrow to discuss possible options. My thoughts and prayers to all of you with this worry. Hug your babies and keep them close to your heart.
