Type of Cancerlymphoma
MessageToto is 13 years old, which is pretty old for a large dog. He acts perfectly healthy and we had no idea anything was wrong until I felt swollen lymph nodes on his neck, then we got the diagnosis of lymphoma. The Dr. said he has up to 6 months to live. I know he's had a long, wonderful life so far, we rescued him from the pound when he was a year old. No matter how long we have with someone we love...it's never enough is it? He's my walking buddy, we walk 5 miles together almost every day, which is probably why he has always been so healthy and has lived this long. I can't even imagine going on my walks without him by my side, I will feel so alone and vulnerable. My children can't remember a day in their lives when he wasn't there, they've grown up with him. Please pray that he enjoys his remaining days on this earth and when it's his time, that he slips away peacefully. Thank you so much for your prayers, they DO help.

Type of CancerTCC Bladder and Prostate Cancer
MessageJake is a 12 year old Sheltie. He seemed in great health until I noticed blood in his urine last Friday. A quick Vet visit that same day and we went home with Antibiotics hoping it was just an infection. Lots of tests the next week revealed Bladder/Prostate/Urethral cancer. The Vet says he doesn't have much time. When he stops being able to urinate is the critical moment. I am trying to find out if a Urethral Stent will help him. Please keep Jake in your thoughts, as I will your dogs. I just want him pain free and enjoying the rest of his life. Thank you and I do hope your animals will come through their situation with their tails waging.

Type of CancerLymphoma
MessageMy 6 year old canine "child" named Briggs was just diagnosed with Lymphoma on July 25th. He went from perfectly normal to very lethargic in less than 2 weeks... then I found the rock like lumps in his neck. Tests confirmed the horrible news: my baby boy has terminal cancer. We are not rich, and chemo is not cheap - however we made the decision to treat him and attempt to extend our time together. The improvement after only a couple rounds of chemotherapy has been UNBELIEVABLE. I hope and pray the improvements continue so the good times can too! I have learned a valuable lesson: cherish today for we have no guarantees for our tomorrows.

MessageOur baby Daisy, was just diagnosed with lymphoma on Saturday. The vet is treating her with prednisone. Her lymph nodes in her neck and in each leg pit and one on her chest cavity are effected. We pray that the medicine will help keep her in good spirits and comfortable. We pray that it will slow the spread of the cancer and extend her life with a excellent quality of life. We pray that when that day comes and the decision has to be made that the right decision is made to make her not feel the pain or suffer at all.

Type of CancerHystiocytic sarcoma
MessageWe lost our sweet Meggie on Tues, 29 July. We are devastated with our loss, so unexpected and quick. Meggie was not her usual outgoing, energetic self for just a few days when she collapsed on a walk. The doctor initially told us it was lymphoma which, in many cases, is treatable with chemotherapy. Unfortunately it was the more serious, and typically fatal, sarcoma. Meggie was always a brave little girl, tolerating diabetes for the past 3 i/2 yrs. We are grateful she went peacefully and quickly. We are so thankful we have McDuff, Meggie's litter mate who survived a mast cell tumor in January. We're praying for all the dogs and their families fighting this disease.

Type of CancerBelieved to originated in Liver is now in lungs
MessageQ , our beautiful white boxer with one sky blue eye was diagnosed with lung cancer today. Needless to say , we are devastated. He suddenly began to lose weight and began to pant and act restless. We attributed some of the problem to a thyroid condition he developed this past year.
Q is a wonderful companion to us and our other dogs. He is sweetness through and through.
I am researching alternative therapies and immediately shopped for supplements at the health food store. Please pray for guidance and wisdom to provide him with the support he needs to fight this disease. Pray for his comfort and healing. I have read through this prayer list. My prayers are being said for all you and your beloved pets and I will continue to send healing energy their way. I thank you all for your prayers for Q.
