MessageHi from Bristol!

I'm in a band and we've just done our first couple of gigs. The latest review said we were the "spiritual heirs to The Sensational Alex Harvey Band".

Hadn't thought about that before but I think the guy has a point. We're certainly delighted with the comparison.

I saw you chaps at the Birmingham Odeon with Alex in about 1979. You were great and obviously something rubbed off.

Our band is called Voice of the Bomb and our website is voiceofthebomb dot com if you want to check us out.

It would be an honour to support you if you ever play in the South West.

Best wishes,

PETE

Messagesmilie Headliners at Reading Rock Festival (was it '77 or '78...dunno brain cannot recall that far back) being up to my knees in mud (having just had some huge balding Scot piss over my jeans as we were all crushed down the front of the arena area awaiting with eager anticipation the arrival of SAHB, not daring to move in case we could not get back to our vantage point) and watching with rapt awe as after what seemed a lifetime of listening to the opening bars of a prolonged intro to 'framed', Alex reappears back on stage dressed in a loin cloth carrying a huge cross over his shoulders and just quietly says the immortal words, "I was framed"....perfect!! Thanks guys, you are Rock and Roll.
