| Message | As with many others, I first discovered SAHB in the 70's and was privilidged to see them many times during those years, and like most people who got to see them I became a disciple of everything that was SAHB. Alex was and remains a genius in my eyes, ZAL is without doubt the finest performer I have ever seen and SAHB as a unit utterly explosive.
I have every album they ever made (and did have both Tear Gas albums as well - sadly no more).
My greatest memory (among many) was being at the bar at Reading festival when Faith Healer began and watching the entire space empty as people rushed to find out what that incredible opeing was all about - something that I thought I had embellished in my own mid, until I read Martin Kielty's book, only to see it confirmed.
To be able to see you guys playing live again is like living a second childhood. My wife and I flew to Glasgow from Luton to see your Christmas show this year and it was utterly fabulous. We are great fans of 'Dream Team' as well so the 'compare' was a welcome surprise.
It would be a great shame if it all ended now as I have 2 sons (both musicians) who would love to see you play.
If it does come to that then thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the memories.
Favourite SAHB song - has to be Give My Compliments to the Chef. |
