MessageHowdy boys. Never got the chance to see you live which is a big regret of mine but have been playing the albums since the 70s. I was born and bread in Coatbridge myself so always had a kind of connection with the band. Knew Max when we both played in bands in Coatbridge in the late 70s. He played bass in 'The' and I played guitar in a band called 'Fat Chance' He was nuts then as well. Also know your ex frontman Stevie Docherty from about the same time. If you ever come to Dublin I'll come along to see a great band. Best of luck to you all. Good one Max. See ya. Swiggy

MessageI first saw SAHB on TV one Friday night on one of those shows like "King Biscuit Flower Hour" or "In Concert"...They did "Vambo" and "The Faith Healer!"...Loved the visuals and they really rocked.

I spent the entire weekend trying to find any LP/Cassette of SAHB to no avail...I finally had to order an LP and wasn't disappointed...It was a live album with Vambo and Faith Healer on it...I eventually got a studion album or two...I didn't want to get rid of them but when I moved I gave it to friend for safe keeping...He's been safe keeping it for 25 years now.

MessageHi Ted/Chris.
Was speaking to Willie Logan. He is doing one of two fundraising gigs for me. His in the Rothes Halls Glenrothes Fife.
SAHB's came into the conversation and I wondered if you could headline the other in The Corn Exchange Cupar Fife. I would be great to see the band on stage again as I have'nt see y0u since the 70s.
Please try guys I know you probably get these requests all the time.
The Charities who will be receiving the fnds are "Maggie's Cancer Caring Centres", "CLIC/Sargent" and Cystic Fibrosis. and the gig will be on the 18th October 08
It would be farout if you could help me out and would give many of us a cool trip down memory lane.
be well
Rod Whyte
