| Message | Long Time FAN - I used to DJ in Iran - YES!!! IRAN... before the overthrow of the Shah (1976-79) used to Rock the US and British Military Advisors with SAHB. Great to finally track down your web site. Pushing Virgin Mega Store to get more SAHB CD's. My kids aren't tuned in yet to SAHB but I'm trying.. God Bless - Fan Club in Phuket - Thailand. | Message | Same SAHB for first time in mid 70s,as support to a small band called Slade! saw them many times during that time in Newcastle and the north east. Still sit and listen to Alex and remember what a show he put on. I still have a piece of the wall he used to smash up on stage. |

| Message | Was always a SAHB fan, from about 74 when I was really getting into music for the first time. I actually saw Alex with the New Band when they played a third-full Glasgow Apollo yet it was still an electrifying night. Always wondered what the actual reasons were for his breaking up the New Band. But he is still inspirational, still essential listening, still Vambo! |

| Message | To expand on the last message. I was there also to see the show. It was at the Orpheum Theater in Boston. It was one hell of a show and the theatrics were fairly new for bands back then. The funny thing is we paid $6.50 for the tickets. You would be lucky to park for that these days! |

| Message | I saw SAHB in the mid 70's in Boston, Mass. They opened up for the Average White Band. We were there to see the SAHB though. The fans of the AWB booed Alex Harvey, but that didn't keep them from playing one heck of a great concert! The only time the AWB fans cheered was when Alex announced they were going to play their last song. "But," he said "it's a very long song" and they went into Framed. We left in the middle of the AWB's set, they were into that disco crap which us rockers despised.  |
