| Message | Hey Honey, Spoke to Lonnie and he said he spoke to you and that you were having a wonderful time with his cousin and Carla. He also said that the two of you were so exhausted that you decided to sleep instead of going out, and that you slept until 2:30. Apparently that was unusual for Carla. I told him that if I did not wake you, that was when you usually got up. Mommy and I were in Baltimore this weekend, we had Shabbat dinner with my cousin Max and his family, and then Saturday saw the Solomons. Sophie and Jesse were away, but we saw Dan. They are moving to a new house, but have not yet sold the one they are in. It was very hot, so we spent most of the time indoors, and Deborah had surgery on her foot, so we showed them slides and movies from China instead of going to a movie or something. I tried to call you today, got your message when we got back form Baltimore, but I got your voicemail, so I did not leave a message (I don't know if you get messages). So call me. I don't know if you remember my friend Beranrdo whose house we went over to in San Diego, went to an animal park with them, he has that son that you guys found annoying? Anyway, he is in town and is coming over for dinner; Ariel is in the Poconos, so it is just us. Should be relaxing. Well, honey, hope to talk to you soon. Love, Daddy |

| Message | It was great seeing you both and Michal over free weekend. We enjoyed meeting Matan. You look great and we are thrilled you are having such an awesome summer. Kudos to Leon and his team for planning such a wonderful itinerary! Today we went to the City of David archeological site but avoided the water tunnel that you went in as we didn't have flashlights and there was no way we were going through in the pitch dark. We also visited Yad Vashem and Mt Herzl. Both were very moving.We hope you are sharing the HP book. Remember to leave your cell phone on next Fri Aug 10th about 10:30-11P We will call you. | Message | Hi Sweetie. Sunday morning. Noey is still sleeping, Abba is still half-way around the world and it's still foggy here. No big surprises. Next Sunday it will be different with both you and Abba coming home. I am already anticipating your post-MBI blues.... Bonds hit #755 yesterday in San Diego. I've been taping and deleting games when he doesn't hit a HR...but alas did not tape yesterday's game. They're back in town this week so I'll start taping again. Apparently Rodriguez also hit 500 yesterday (is that something you care about??) It was really lucky that you called me when you did, because otherwise it could have been really bad. Once you hadn't heared from me you should have called me much sooner to confirm everything, you should have realized that I couldn't reach you. Anyway we'll discuss it in more detail when I see you. | Message | Hi Simon, We've returned from N.J. to the 99 degree humid weather of C-ville (we brought you a small stash of salt water taffy). I hope your throat is all better and that you had a fun weekend. It sounds as if they kept you pretty busy over the free weekend. I bet you did find time to read Harry Potter though. I can't believe you'll be home in one more week! Your senior proofs arrived and some are actually pretty good. I'll let you choose after you get home and get well-rested. Naomi is off to Florida (!) with Ariel - a trip financed by Ariel's grandma. You should have seen the stomping fit your other sib had when she found out what Naomi was going to do.
