| Message | In 1968, The USS Randolph CVS15 was my first of three ESSEX class carriers that I served aboard. My first cruise was to South America, and what a trip that was. Go Rio! As a member of V2 Division, as an airman (E3) at the time ,I was the #4 arresting gear engine operator. Later on I got moved up to Primary Flight Controll (Control Tower)where I was trained by ABE2 Jack Snyder. I served aboard CVS 15 until she was decommissioned in Boston, then being transferred on to the USS Yorktown CVS10 and later on to the USS Intrepid CVS11. Some of the best people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing were guys off the Randolph. |

| Message | I enjoy finding and reading anything about the USS Randolph because my father served on her before he retired and then passed away 2 years after he retired. My mother is also interested in trying to contact ANYONE who may have known him. Keep up the great work. |
