MessageIn honor of my beloved late husband Henry Kent Seaman Ist Class served aboard his beloved Randolph from 1945 to 1947. Received his honorable discharge November, 1947 Quonsett, R.I.
He was a plane captain. He loved his time in the Navy. He told me all the stories of his cruise in the Mediterranian. He saw Gibratar. Ismir Turkey. He was only seventeen. Poor kid from a broken home. He always said his Navy service prepared him for life. He was a very successful businessman. He was respected by all who knew him. He was much loved and respected. He was so proud of his time with the Randolph he always wore his Randolph baseball cap with the CV-15 embroidered on it. He would have loved this web site. Thank you all for making it possible. Thank you all that have served.
