| Message | i was transfered from the fdr cva-42 & came aboard the randy on 1-10-60. after about a month i went tad to cpo compartment cleaning with a guy named riffel from baltimore, brown from nc.,malzone from ny. after cpo compartment cleaning i went to the co2 shop under doug green, then clontz and then kelly. when i made sfm3 kelly wouldn't let me go;seems like i was always on somebodys hit list.(did i say "hit" list? i must have skipped a letter there(.then the pipefitter shop needed a po3 so, kelly let me go to the pipe shop.and i spent the next year leading a pipefitter gang. then finally i got into the metalsmith shop under cheif j b brannum. my son put me on to this site. the first name i recconized was dave davenport. i stood desk watch in d c central and dave's shop was next door.then i saw "fireball" robrets name. "fireball, as honrey as you were when we were serving together, i would have thought somebody would have shot and killed you along time ago.then, i saw don harter's name, from oh. don, i had a question i wanted to ask and never did.please contact me at tmccollam@wowway.com then i noticed ed mcgowan's name.as i said i stood desk watch in d c central and when i caught a 0800 watch "mac" was like clockwork, coming in for a permit to keep a door open.and, last but not least was j j stagg. i'll never forget j j,the first time i met him after i came on board. we met over by the laundry bags.he stuck out his hand and said" yeh, i'm j j stagg from "joisey city, joisey" lol. |
