MessageI was an ET2 in "W" division during the Med cruise in 1958. The thing I enjoyed most was watching air ops up on the O7 level. I still have a lot of fond memories of the Old Randolph. It's hard to believe it's been 52 years since I was on board of the old ship. It's sad that it's scrap metal today!

MessageLooking for anyone that was in division 3 from 1962 to 1965. I was one of the guys on elevator three when it was torn from the ship. I was lucky I survived; I lost two good friends. I remember the firebug. I think his name was Sanders.

MessageI served aboard the Randolph from late 1966 until the end of decommisioning in early 1969. I was an EM3 and served in E-Division. I stood generator watches and worked on electrical circuits in the engineering spaces. I have been trying to get in touch with Robert Roy Huff for years. He also worked in E-Division as an EM3.If anyone knows him and knows how I might get in touch with him please contact me at genettiesmith@bellsouth.net. If anyone else served with me please contact me. I would love to hear from you.

MessageWow! My last entry is now on page 45. How time flies. Still look back at the photos we took aboard the "Randy". Think often about the days and nights in the Photo Lab. Still taking pictures>. We served under the best Captain in the Navy Captain Hardy, he was a great sailors leader. Looking for anyone who served in the PhotoLab from Sept. 1962 to August 1964. email me.
