| Message | A note on tanking penalties: It's important to consider that the GM's picks may all be traded to other GM's so the punishment of dropping him into last has no effect. I think there needs to be some penalty that is attached directly to the GM found guilty. Not sure what it could be actually. This is not related to Kernel's "punishment" it was just something to keep in mind. As for Kernel specifically I think he's a baby , but other than that it's just a shame that we don't have 8 GM's excited about the FHL league. There are plenty of Fantasy GM's who would like to be a part of a solid pool like this. |

| Message | I agree with that rationale for this season, but the penalty needs to be stiff in the future. I'll give Terror the benefit of the doubt this year because of his contribution to the league, but it needs to be a stern penalty in the future. |

| Message | i change my B vote to: B for cam this year, A for next year.. pretty harsh to penalize a guy to the nuts with a new rule, but the rule needs to be harsh enough going forward that it's a deterrant rather than a constant bookkeeping endeavour.. |

| Message | I vote for suggestion A in the tanking debate...Regarding the playoff pool, I like shortenned rosters, ability to make changes each round, and the ability to make trades that are reversed after the playoffs. |

| Message | my votes are: B 1.Y 2.Y 3.Y substitutions between rounds? N (or is this what drops means?) re Epp's unbridled enthusiasm for this pool: -atta boy -some interesting suggestions, i can't see them gaining much support though, further debate possibly after the playoff format is decided -there's nothing to stop anyone from making trades that stick to bolster their playoff dreams (with or without the playoff trades rule), but any team that aggressively pursues that strategy will throw player values out of wack for the pool -crazy, borderline gay idea: the playoff pool winner gets an extra redraft pick |

| Message | Re: Play-off format Philly made a good proposal. I believe we have consensus on 3 items. 1. Shortened roster 2. No drops 3. No money Now we need input on the other 3 (plus input on shortened roster size specifications) 1. Trades (seems to be some who like trades, some who don't) 2. Supplemental draft 3. Phillies new idea of the bonus points for filling out the play off bracket. Please post on the banter board your preferences. |

| Message | Re: Terror penalty In my opinion there 2 options for penalization for "tanking" (whether it be purposeful or merely the case of neglect). Harsh hard-line option a) the team in question gets the last pick in the re-draft (every round including prospect draft) - this also includes picks from the squad that have been traded. Reasonable option b) the team in question will be ranked in the position in which they "would have" achieved had they made the necessary changes during the course of the season. Please make known your opinion on the banter board (unless someone calls for a secret ballot) |

| Message | Probably the best suggestion thus far from Phily. I could live with those suggestions. |

| Message | In a keeper league you should always be looking to improve regardless of your situation... I don't think a bad team is any excuse for apathy. I have spent the last 2 years building from a few scraps what I believe will be a contender in a couple more years and it has been a blast. GM Terror has arguably the second best team in this league, there should be no excuses for his whining and disconnect. Playoff pool will be added fun but it shouldn't be needed to make anyone more active in the current FHL. My votes: 1. Shortened roster. 2. No drops. 3. No Draft. 4. Trades allowed but reversed after the playoffs. (This way if you like the flames and I like the Nucks we can trade my flames for your nucks, with no long term cost.) 5. No cash or $5. 6. Wild Card Bonus points for filling out a playoff bracket with winners and correct series length guesses?!?!) |
