| Message | Wow, kudos to the Farmhands on a brilliant trade. Giving up no grade A prospects for 4 solid players. Hate to say it Goon, but you got hammered on this deal. Its 50/50 that any of those players turn into impact players. |

| Message | Not sure what the motive for the Eppsters proposal is (even with his clarification). The 7 man farm has been a viable amount for all 10 years of the FHL. Making it bigger allows for more mistakes for GMs. Making it tight brings on difficult decisions and allows for the potential of the wealth to be spread. (i.e. a team can't protect all its assets). We don't have a waiver process in our league - this 7 man farm is that waiver system, allowing good players to be available to the poorer teams, leading to a more competitive league. |

| Message | I'm a no too for this year. Next year might be a better fit both for the league and the new GM. Maybe decide on someone this year and bring them along slowly so they can see how things work. Maybe even feed them a few picks as we go through this year... |

| Message | My standing vote for expansion is still no. I think expanding now is the equivalent of what Bettman did in the NHL with the over-expansion We can talk about everything of course, which I'm sure we will. I'm just saying I'm quite happy with the current state of affairs. |

| Message | thanks for that less than helpful description.. i was suprised to see the semblance of an FHL rulebook at the start of the document i forwarded to everyone's email.. i'd still like to see #5 flushed out a little bit more for my imminent rebuild. with the new method of awarding picks to include prospect points, do we still want to see all teams attempt to ice an active roster? a few injuries and teams don't have 12/6/2 anymore b/c they are using bench spots for prospects. i'd just like to have a less grey "anti-tanking vote" rule in place. |

| Message | Round 1 - we protected X amount of players, Phillies picked one from each team. Round 2 - we protected X more players and Phillies took another player from each team. Round 3 - sme thing but it was slim pickings by then. I don't remember the exact particulars except that I lost Daniel Sedin. ![]() |

| Message | negotiating the roster cap is a very large part of this and any keeper pool. Especially during the rebuild phase, the roster cap has been set in the FHL for a number of years, everyone who has rebuilt (or built) has had to work within the roster size. It would be wrong to expand the roster size simply because a majority of teams are currently rebuilding so they'd prefer more wiggle room to see if their prospects will pan out. Changing the roster size would be very similar to allowing prospects to remain unsigned for 4 years instead of 3. If a change like this is being introduced I would want at least a 2 year grandfather in of it so that it is not instantly favoring some teams much more than others. |
