| Message | wow... Luongo is horrendous, but we already knew that, I did think we were going to win in spite of him. Unlike many though I believe in this Canucks team, game 7 of the cup finals, a record season, yes they somewhat choked in the finals, but they also ran into the hottest goalie in recent NHL history, and a number of significant injuries. Hamhuis, Edler, Ehrhoff, Kesler, Higgins. add Rome and Raymond in there, and a definitely softened Henrik. “They were probably shooting six guys up today,” - Tambellini on the Nucks dressing room looking like a hospital ward. And I am happy to chalk this one up to a very strong effort by the best team in the league. p.s. I was wrong on my game 7 prediction... that sucks cause I had a great record on predicting the wins until that game. p.p.s. The riots were both crazy and stupid, I saw a guy try to jump across the viaduct and fall |

| Message | Any junior B coach knows how to beat Luongo; Get traffic on him which results in scrambles around the crease area targeting his lack of agility, when shooting from outside aim for high glove side, and if you score on him early in a period push hard as he tends to give up another goal quickly which can lead to his unraveling...Boston was simply the bigger and tougher team in this series. They also had an unbeatable goalie. The Canucks where physically beaten down, which left them unable to play their speed and attack game... Great season overall, which ended 1 step short. Some more lessons were their to be learned by the coaching and management staff, and they will come back next season more prepared for another shot at the Cup. |

| Message | As a Canucks fan since forever I am extremely disappointed in the outcome. After cooling off from last night I have to admit that Boston totally dominated the series and deserved the win. I mean two 1-0 victories and one 3-2 victory is eeking out a 3-2 series lead. I have to admit that I had no confidence in them going into game 7. Luongo is a head-case, Sedin's wilted too many times and Kesler disappeared after Nashville. I know that next year I will still be a Canucks fan. I just don't understand how you can't bring anything to the table in the Stanley Cup final. No fire. No will to win. Canucks were out-coached as well. The Bruins obviously had Luongo figured out since game 3. Bah |
