On a side note, with the Bruins win and shutout, I sealed second place in my office pool and cover my FHL expenses for the next three seasons (including my generous donation to the Phillies organization). | Message | I totaled it up and this year I spent over 240 hours watching the Canucks. Thats 10 straight days. I have no faith in this core. Sedins -3 thus far in the game? (looks like Goon was right). Luongo is a wreck. Why can't he have Timmy brain? And these are the leaders of the team? Canucks fans always say "theres always next year". Not for me, I'm out! Next year I'm going to do things other than waste my time cheering on guys who just don't have it. See you in 2012(maybe)! |

| Message | Embarrassing Final for the Canucks. This was there chance and they blew it. Totally horrible. I had them as huge favorites going in. Everything was lined up. Can't wait to see Luongo crying after the game. He was the reason they lost this series. Switch goalies and its over in 4. |

| Message | I don't know fellas... In all honestly, Vancouver has earned this cup...they've built this team from the ground up and don't have a sense of entitlement like the Leafs always do. It would kind of be a shame to see them drop the ball but then again, it wouldn't be the first time - many favourites have fallen in the final. On another note, I'm the only guy in my office with any Bruins in the hockey pool and I'm now in third place - my winnings here will cover mine and Phils FHL entries for the upcoming season so you see where my loyalties lie. |
