| Message | Jono is not interested in taking over Inferno's garbage team. Here is his proposal: "I would propose that the 6 remaining teams protect a certain number of players. For instance let’s say 10. I would then pick maximum two guys and minimum one (I would have to take at least one guy from each team, but not more than two) from each team to make up my 10 “keepers”. We would proceed with the redraft to fill out everyone’s rosters. I would still have subpar team after picking everyone’s leftovers, but hopefully be able to draft guys I like to improve my team." Inferno and Phillies players all go into the redraft. I havent seen Rob and Cam's proposal for protection lists for the redraft, but I'm assuming it could occur after the expansion process. |

| Message | I don't have the draft order yet as my computer is down and I have to get it fixed. I think Scott's pick was 3rd. |

| Message | I have similar concerns as Terror. The team he will be inheriting from Scott is extremely poor, and a new GM must realize that a short turnaround is unlikely. He must also realize that we have rules in place to defend against a tank job, thus making building through the draft more challenging as well. I believe this is where Scott lost interest when he realized his draft position was not where he expected it to be, making his rebuild more daunting. I have some concern with a GM only 1 person is familiar with, and he is miles away from any face to face contact. With technology I realize this is a minor concern, but having an isolated GM on an island to himself may also loose interest for him. |

| Message | I assume that he would take over Scott's team in its entirety, including picks. The biggest thing for me is that he realizes that he probably won't be competitive right off the bat. If he's fine with that and building up a team for the long term, I'm for it. |

| Message | if he joins, i don't share the same concerns that he might quit after a year or two, but i'll share those concerns with him... i've asked Jono if he's interested, conditionally based on the vote so far.. what re-draft and prospect pick would he get? |

| Message | Great point GM Terror. I would hate to see the new GM split after 1 year. I am in favor of a 7 team format. |

| Message | I'm fine with either way as well but I think it's important to make sure the new guy is aware of the situation. Duke, would you be able to show him Scott's team and let him know about the possible protection/re-structuring that will be taking place? He needs to see the difficult spot he would be in because Scott's team is pretty weak (through no fault of his own), even with only protecting 12 or whatever. Granted, he would be able to improve through the redraft but I don't want to give him the team only to see him quit after one year because he is too far back. |
