| Message | Here's a simple set of rules: 1. Starting lineups of 12f/6d/2g must be announced by midnight on the last day of the month. 2. Any types of trades are allowed. Teams must carry a minimum of 12f/6d/2g during the regular season. a. Each team is awarded 1 prospect pick per year and 3 regular redraft picks (scheduled to change). These picks happen during the redraft held a week or two before the regular season starts. Obviously, the current year is different. b. Midseason drafts are held in late November and January in reverse order of standings on a date close to the draft. These players can be activated in the subsequent month. 3. Points for forwards and defense are determined on a one for one system for goals and assists only. Goalies have 2-win, 1-shootout loss, 3-shutout, 1-goals/assists point structure. 4. We run 2 sets of records during the year: a. The first calculates points for the rosters as set out by the GM’s. The 12/6/2/ stated at the roster deadline are included and changed monthly. The total of this list determines the placing for who wins and what place they come in. b. The second list takes all the players on your teams (including prospects) and calculates the top 12/6/2 for each month regardless of whether the player is on the active roster. This list is used to determine draft order. We use this method to ensure tanking doesn’t happen as well as it being a truer measure of a team’s strength. |

| Message | New team name will be "Reapers". I will be on holidays from Aug 26 to Sep 5, but should have internet access to make my 12 selections. Do I have to take two guys from Dukes? Looks like Dan was getting inside info from Kevin Lowe/Steve Tambellini to construct his team  Would the commish be able to send me a summarization of the most important rules of the league? Dan had mentioned you set monthly lineups? I'd just like something I can reference if I need to. |

| Message | Other orders of business: -a big thanks to GM Terror for figuring out those stats last night and nailing the order. Your life is crazy right now, appreciate the effort. 1. C-Dogg - can you update our google draft doc to reflect that order and create all the extra rounds (considering our "reno" proposal i.e. our old 1st three rounds actually become rounds 4-6)? 2. I believe we should give Jono 1 week from Aug. 28 to make his 2 selections from each team = Sept. 4. Any disagreement with that? 3. Re: trade freeze - I believe we should lift the trade freeze after Jono's selection date. 4. We need to nail down a date for this "reno" draft, sometime mid-to-late September. 3. |

| Message | Welcome here Jono - we look forward to your first course of action - to create a new team name. It feels good to have the unanimous favor of all FHL Gms/owners going into this significant changes for this season, and going forward. I was recently reading THN draft edition and saw a feature article on a couple of franchise style pools - one had been around since '78 and another sometime in the '90s. We're not too far behind - this pool has been in existence since 2000 - 14 yrs. Here's to 14 more boys!  1st order of business inaugurating these new changes = Expansion draft - post your 12 man protection list by 2 weeks today, midnight PST - August 28. Remember there is a trade freeze in effect currently. Also remember, prospects do not need to be protected, they will remain your asset with our same prospect system in place. |

| Message | If my memory serves me correct, I seem to remember the Express having the rights to first pick overall, followed by Dan, then Scott, etc. If we can't locate other documents I am ok to go with that. |
