| Message | Thanks Dan - seems like a more than worthy candidate. However - we need FHL GMs approval on this. Some may prefer to have a 6 team league. In my opinion we've got 2 options. 1. The Inferno team permanently dissolves - all players from the club go back into the major re-draft. The FHL goes ahead with a 6 team league. 2. Dan's new GM nomination takes over the Inferno as is and will join for the upcoming mega/dispersal draft. (because of the state of flux the pool is currently in we cannot have a start from scratch expansion draft). FHL GMs - which one do you prefer? Give your arguments as well if you wish. The 2 new proposals are almost completed (i.e. 1 for massive dispersal /mega-redraft - a bit of a one time only reset for the league (ie. 12 player protection list) and a 2nd proposal for a new yearly styled protection list (i.e. more players protected than this years 12 player). |

| Message | he's solid. let's worry more about getting a proposal to him. good gm's with time to dedicate to the pool are hard to find. Since i've known Jono the last few years he's run two hockey pools which he's won.. he purchased a draft board and trophy for our church football pool and always has plenty of beverages and snacks when he hosts drafts. He also seems to know how to use skype which is an asset to our pool. |

| Message | BREAKING NEWS > > > This just in - Lindout has resigned and given up the rights to his FHL club. I wanted to give him a chance to reconsider with the news that we were changing the format to help with parity and a quicker re-build time. He still felt he did not have the time to sink into the pool that this would demand on him. We now can go ahead with nominee's - Dan, let us know some of the details with the contact you mentioned before. |

| Message | Re: FHL Re-structure Process Update Both GM Terror and Commissioner Brown have been busy creating various protection lists and dispersal draft ideas and are coming together for a meeting this week. Look for an update in maybe a week from now. |

| Message | one thing i like about protection lists is that it will spur trade activity in the off-season. cam will field offers. but i will only be more involved when i feel like it, and only in the interest of being less competitive, thank you very much. the stronger my team gets, the more work there is to be done. are prospects part of the protected number? if not, teams will really think about holding them back. i would think they wouldn't be part of the protection list, but what does everyone else think? i prefer a higher number of protects like cam says. being able to keep 22 lets you keep 2 bench players which is deep enough imo. 5 cuts for the average team. just do a five round draft with no drops. draft is that much quicker b/c your drops are pre-determined. obviously more rounds this year with crosby-palooza. or maybe not.. if you do a 5 round super draft this year, the free agent pool is that much more stocked for midseason picks. we've depleted the free agent pool so much during the 4 round era. the phillies dispersal is 3 rounds worth of players and cam and collin's cuts account for the majority of the remaining two rounds. |

| Message | I don't mind leaving some players open every year but to only protect 12 would be too much. This is a franchise pool for a reason. Year to year pools require way less skill, just draft and pray. Turning over rosters so easily just gives teams a better chance at getting lucky. Plus, we struggle to get 3-5 rounds done every redraft, how in the world are we going to get 15 rounds done? I'd be in favor of at least 22 or more protected players at the end of each year. |

| Message | 7 is fine in the interest of parrot tea, but IF lindhout doesn't have time or interest, i don't think we should pass up the opportunity to add an active GM. |

| Message | I would be in favor of some sort of more significant redraft each season as well. A 12 man protection each year with all other players becoming available would be fine with me. I would be interested in the waiver wire scenario as well. I also like the thought of keeping our pool to the 7 we have, and working on strengthening our current group. I believe we could have more involvement from Scott, Dan and Rob if they were able to actually compete. The smaller the protection list each year the fewer teams will be in a rebuild situation. |
