| Message | thanks ebbingnight  things are ok for now. the job stress is kind of rough but i'll get by. so pleased the 'supersonic' singing pleased you; i've been waiting to get that idea out for along time. oh the bad-guy will be discovered, be assured. Elrond is hopping mad that his order was disobeyed, for it was he who decreed that Legolas' status be kept secret from all except the elves at the council, and they already knew. however, erestor is the ultimate source for the mean trick, even if he himself did not do it, nor ask someone else to do it for him. so i think some punishment is justified. thank you again so much  |

| Message | Hello dear, I loved Ant Aglareb: I hope that the overall lightheartedness of this one reflects the fact that you too are in a good place. I especially enjoyed seeing (but not hearing!) the courting dance from Frodo's point of view: that was masterfully done. But now I can hardly wait to find out who or what is behind the betrothal gift mystery! |

| Message | oh thank you, that is too kind  you've left me great feedback and i am just very happy the cuthenin story pleased you. i wish i had been able to finish it on time, but at least you got me to work on the story again.i like writing legolas and gimli as good friends. to me, it always seemed they had much in common and it was the most natural thing for them to be pals. even in the books, i never really felt they were antagonistic, and there are more passages where they are in accord than in contention. yes, gimli over-hearing all that did give legolas a few seconds of insecurity and anxiety, especially not knowing whether the dwarf would use it against him and spread the tale all over imladris, if he was still angry with him. i just felt like gimli would be wise enough to see that legolas is not the kind of elf to purposefully wrong anyone,especially someone he had chosen as a friend. his decision to give legolas a second chance says much about his character, which has always been sterling in my book. ah! i did toy briefly with the idea of sending galdor to check up on them, but after his conversation with legolas earlier decided he would leave his ward alone. he probably assumes they did it, never guessing glorfindel would be the one to resist so strongly. the culprit will be revealed! he's slimy and a real snake in the grass he and his accomplice will be banished! thank you again for all these compliments |

| Message | I know I've reviewed at your lj, but it doesn't feel right not to leave a thank-you here as well. I just love Cuthenin and I'm so grateful you've taken the time to write this for my xmas fic. It was good to see the developing friendship between Legolas and Gimli here. Although I do wonder if Gimli will ever be able to look at Legolas again without remembering what he must have heard, waiting outside Glorfindel's house. (I must say for a horrible moment I thought it was Galdor at the door - I had images of him striding in and separating the two!) I am now very curious as to who left Legolas' gift in Boromir's room. It looks as though Legolas has more than one enemy in Imladris and one who must know something of sylvan culture. I can't wait to find out who it is. Thank you again! I don't think I will ever be able to look at a back scrubber in the same way again  Naledi |

| Message | hi claudette welcome to the Feud universe. wow,that's a very long read! Esteliel is fantastic so any rec from her is so complimentary to me. thank you for those wonderful things you said about the story, i greatly appreciate them yes, i know how frustrating it is to get so deep into a story and then find it unfinished. i do apologise. feud is not abandoned and there will be a new chapter in about a month or so. i have some commitments ahead of it, but it will happen. now,as for that happy ending -  - well, how happy can this story end? look at where we are right now: lindalcon off to avenge his father, legolas out to stop him before he's killed, everybody else in greenwood who can be spared out after him, including aragorn, the twins, and haldir's troops; elrond in the clutches of the spirits (and fearfaron), meril in the dungeons, thranduil on the verge of madness, the infant prince in the arms of Dambethnin (orophin's mate), and erestor is with them. celeborn and the wizards are hoping to avert catastrophe, but i am rather doubtful. all that said, you will have noticed that legolas has a knack for surviving the most horrendous situations, so i will do my best. this means others will have to be cast by the wayside. i will try to tie it all up neatly, but happy is perhaps subjective and best left to the interpretation of the reader.thanks again for such fine praises |

| Message | Wonderful story, I was so riveted that I read the whole thing in a few days at the expense of a lot of other activities, including sleep! I saw a section titled epilog and I was surging to the end only to find no finish, no closure no lasting happiness for Legolas. Please, please update this story. |
