MessageHi Laureic,

Yes, I also write Cuthenin under a different name, but it is just me. Feud is where Pâd-en-Tawar all started, and then Legolas and the Balrog brought it more fully into form and by the time I began Cuthenin it was pretty much complete. Each of those stories focuses on different aspects of the religion and I think in Balrog the philosophy is more fully explained. Even in Aearlinn there are snatches of it and we'll see more, this time in the context of bonding and creating and raising children.

I am pleased you find the characters a bit different each time. I tend to have certain underlying preferences, like everybody else, and while those come through the personalities are hopefully painted in different hues, illuminated from slightly different angles.

Feud is one of those stories people either like or despise and so I amopf course happy you are among the former smilie I am still working on the next instalment and it is taking longer than i would like, but a lot of stressful things are happening and this is distracting me. everything i write just does not please me and so i end up redoing it. I will get it done soon, though.

thanks for sticking around smilie i am very glad to have you here smilie

MessageHallo!
Just came to take a look around and I discovered you wrote "cuthenin" as well! smilie I have checked on the writer's name on lotrfanfiction more times than I can remember because of the concept of Tawar appearing in both fics!! I eventually assumed it was a coincidence or so. I still love "Feud" btw. It's remarkable how the character of Elrond, Thranduil, Erestor,..ect differ in every story.I guess this only means you have a story for everybody smilie
Hope to see more of...every story soon, I think I'll be hanging around here for some time.
Good luck with writing and life in general.
bye,
Laureïc. smilie

MessageGalad-in-elin,

oh this is wonderful fun smilie Got your private message; i completely forgot about that! OK, I will play along. It shall remain a mystery. Those curious enough will figure it out. Thank you for the compliments on Nestaron. I'll finish it eventually. Originally intended it for a friend who is no longer interested in LotR fanfic, having moved on to other things.

I shall have to think of some means to reward those who stumble upon it. I know; they shall be inducted into the illustrious and elite Order of the Silver Arrow. Once certain knowledge is documented, their names shall be inscribed in the list of these worthy people, of which you are the first acknowledged member smilie

thanks for brightening my day, as you always do,my friend. smilie

MessageErobey,
there's no need to trouble yourself with the scrolls- I've just figured the way to roll it down. Besiedes, I can access your stories from that green band and- what's the problem to access your stories for a person who discovered a story on your site that you never added? smilie
Ah well, "Nestaron".I have a proposition. To you I will send in a private message details about finding it and to other folks visiting Tawarwaith...
"Erm, strangers of distant lands of Middle Net!
You are no mere mortals if you've found The Last Homely Home Page- Tawarwaith. Here, as the Imladris was hidden, is hidden a story- <Nestaron ar Maethor>. Who'll find it, their prize will be gaining a honourable title of The Most Devoted Fan and a chance to read a fantastic, though unfinished, story. The contest starts...now!"
smilie Oh, that was fun.
Hah, hah, Erobey, really, even if completely uncnsciously, you've made "Nestaron" far more thrilling than any of your stories- and just because of its hidden location. When I found it in the most unexpected place and laid my eyes on it, I read it really hungrily- I felt as if I was in the old library in some castle, as if I've just found a hidden, forgotten and maybe forbidden shelf with mysterious knowledge of Wizards, for example.uch things don't happen on the Internet, where everything is laid out plainly. And yet... You gave me an opportunity to feel like one of those heroes of films or books that discover such things and I thank you!

MessageHi Galad-in-Elin,

glad the new layout is working ok for you. i don't know what is wrong with the scrolling, that is strange but i will look into it.can you click and access the story links from the green menu band above the story summaries area?

Now, how did you find Nestaron? i confess i am curious. i never added it to the contents because it is unfinished and i have no idea when i can be able to get back to it. seems there are enough of those on the contents page as it is smilie

MessageDear Erobey,

I find new layout of your site nice and, what's important, very clear- now everything has its place and it is easy for me to get to what I'm looking for. One thing does not work properly and that is a scroll of summaries- it does not want to roll down. Once I succeeded and look through them but now I have the same problem again. smilie Otherwise, all is perfect smilie
I discovered your story "Nestaron ar Maethor" and I read it all at once, it's so intriguing and I could write about it many compliments but before I write anything, please, tell me: why is it not in the Contents? It's a little like Aearlinn, a little like Cuthenin, a little like Legolas and the Balrog and it's truly fascinating. This mystery about it being hidden only adds to it!

MessageHi Anfalas,

Welcome to Tawarwaith; thank you for those wonderful compliments smilie I'm glad you found me. Feud is on AFF but quite a mess as the site crashed a couple years back and everything kind of got scrambled over there. I confess I have not fixed it. smilie

Well it is good you like lots of suffering because in Feud Legolas goes through several hells and still more to come bfore the end. Alagos is very dark too and there is some pain and anguish in just about anything i write. and you are not weird, lots and lots of folks like to see Legolas suffer before he triumphs.i got away fromit a bit because Feud got so dark and I got so depressed writing it I just needed a break. i'm trying to finish it now.

so good to have another fan from across the ocean smilie

Your Favourite StoryFeud
How did you find me?AFF
MessageHey Erobey,
I'm a noob when it comes to fanfiction, especically slash. Since I suffer from serious withdrawel for one of my favorite stories I searched the internet for other stories and finally found Feud! Wow, it's sooo long and still not finished. That saves me! Since I just started I can read for weeks (or days cos I'm so hooked, I can't wait to continue reading in the evening after work and my daughter finally asleep). I also read Aerlinn and Alagos O... (damn it, forget the name). I must admit, that I really loved the dark story (Ala..., well, you know). Maybe I'm a little bit weird, but I prefer a suffering Legolas. The more pain, the better.
I also want to praise your talent in writing. Since I have read many stories I think one can see the differences and you are perfect. What really made my day was the art-gallery.
So finally I add your webside to my favorites. Sorry at least for any spelling mistakes but although I can read in English well enough it's hard to write.
