| Message | Oh, I think Malthen could redeem himself in Mandos's Hall after this sacrificial death: certainly Legolas would hope so. This was heartbreaking for him also, as you clearly show us. One thing I didn't mention before that I truly loved was the way you depicted the trees in this last chapter: now I understand better how important the Tawarwaith is for them! And I didn't mean to imply that you are slow in doing chapters: heavens, no! It's just that these are so well-crafted and moving that obviously they can't be written overnight. Hope you are enjoying that beautiful scenery! |

| Message | Hi ebbingnight Thanks for the feedback, I really needed it as I wrote and rewrote so many times on this one. yes,it did take a really long time and I ma sorry about that.maybe the next update will be quicker. so glad you feel Malthen did right and maybe deserves to be saved. |

| Message | Erin Fen-en-Gûr. Oh, my! I so disliked Malthen for his abuse of Legolas as an adolescent, and actually revisiting those years through his memories was just horrific in a can't-take-your-eyes-off-the-page way. But... I ended the chapter in tears, because now I can see the hero in him that Legolas saw originally, and that he always should have been. Dying in and with the trees in order to save Legolas from falling into that vicious trap: stunning. I can see more and more why you need a long time to write each of these, Ellen! |

| Message | hi. no worries, any update will be good. i would love to see an update on Feud. Off to find the hidden story. I think it is a great idea, I get to go through and reread all the stories again and get a nice surprise and a treat of an extra story when I am done. Fanfiction is such a good procrastination tool for all those nasty finals I should be studying for. have a nice weekend. |

| Message | Hi shadow in the dark well, i am glad the layout is working for you.today i plan to borrow my son's laptop (he uses a pc) and fix whatever is wrong with the code fro IE6+. I am working on finishing Feud. This is the tough one but I just need to finish it up now. So,if you aren't a feud fan,sorry but this needs to be done. not sure when this update will be ready, have already written it about four different ways, none of them pleases me. trying a different angle again today; we'll see. the right hand column is where the updates and notices will be placed, instead of the running marquee banner across the top. if you are not able to scroll the left and right sections, please let me know. hope you have a good weekend too  |

| Message | wow! Another new display setup. I love how there is a link of all the stories at the top as well as a picture. Is there any chance that some type of indicator of what is update and when will make an appearance again? Anyways.
