Messagehi Landruillin smilie

thank you so much and I am actually glad you find Legolas' reaction a bit confusing smilie

He is very confused himself right now.Yes, he really did feel an incredible connection to Elladan, which was returned. But he is very young and very naive, just as you said, and maybe his expectations are unrealistic. He wants to be swept off his feet, but Elladan is not likely to be the romantic type. And the attraction to Aragorn is there and he cannot help detect Aragorn's interest, too. Though it seems i have put an insurmountable barrier to any relationship with Aragorn developing beyond the influence of hormones, we are still in the early stages here. And don't forget, Legolas began this tale wanting a lover, someone to come home to after his grueling patrols, and not a life-mate. So, we are moving toward A/L, for this I promised to someone long ago smilie but we will not forget Elladan, either smilie

thank you again and i hope your holidays were wonderful, too smilie

MessageGreat chapter! I was hoping that this story would be your next update! However, I must confess - I'm slightly confused as to who Legolas is supposed to be gravitating towards? I thought he felt an amazing connection with Elladan when they ran into each other? And now he's taken a liking to Aragorn?! (I must admit I'm more of an E/L fan; but you write any pairing beautifully smilie so I can't complain!) At least everyone understands clearly who is who!

It's incredibly adorable how naive and innocent Legolas is - totally virginal! And all his friends and relatives being fiercely protective! I can't wait for more! I must admit I was on your website the moment you posted the latest chapter - I've just read it a second time! I doubt I'll ever tire of your tales! Can't wait for more! Hope you had a good Christmas and New Year! Sorry for the belated greeting!

oh thank you so much! I am always so happy to find another Feud fan. Yes, what you say about Thranduil's reaction to his son is exactly what i wanted to portray, except he does not feel the in-love emotions for him. He is beginning to have a grudging respect for the wild elf and yet cannot bring himself to forget all the pain this child brought him. He will eventually be able to express that respect if nothing more. In the near future, Thranduil will have more grief to bear and will tend to forget about Legolas as he struggles to overcome it. I am still trying to finish Feud and Aearlinn, too. In the process of moving again, hopefully for a longer period of time so I can try to get settled and work on these more consistently. thank you again for such lovely compliments - could not have come at a better time smilie I, too, am glad about that google accident that brought you here smilie

MessageI can't get over this story, i think i'm obsessed. Almost every fanfic i read on Legolas, his fathers usually overprotective and loving. But now its just too weird to read his character that way. I keep going back to read the parts where Thranduil thinks about Legolas, he seems to almost feel remorse but doesn't want it. And Legolas is there and it still hurts him that Thranduil feels nothing, smilie will they ever have that heart to heart ah, or something like it? i keep thinking thranduil will have in-love feelings for him and thats part of why he hates him so much. ugh!! I love ur writing i look out for Feud and Aearlinn but mostly Feud. keep it up! smilie

Thank you for such great feedback smilie So nice to hear from folks who are reading and enjoying the tales. you are too kind about the updating - i am pretty slow these days, but i doggedly keep at it. Also nice to know i was rec'd smilie

Oh, Landuilin really got the juices flowing with those comments and I will get to that promised alternative outcome as time permits. it is an interesting idea - how would Elrond meet him if that happened? well there's an obvious answer and a less obvious one that would be the route i'd take and the story would be in Mithlond with Elrond and Galdor vying for Legolas. i admit i have let Aearlinn slip into near dormancy and that must be stopped. there are several stories that need to be reactivated and completed. sigh.

your compliments are very kind and i appreciate them so much. there's a lot of me in these stories smilie and i added Argentina to the banner smilie i really like seeing all those flags when i go to the site. wish i could visit all those places.

thank you again for sharing such good thoughts with me smilie

MessageHi, just wanted to drop a bit of encouragement and to of course thank your unending dedication to your constant updates on all your wonderful stories! It's the first time that I've commented, but ever since August this year I have been reading all your lovely tales - and I'm happy to say I've thoroughly enjoyed them all! I've also taken to read people's comments on the Guestbook - yes, I'm that obsessed! - and Landruillin has captured my curiosity over the wandering 'what if's' of Legolas' life, if he had successfully arrived in Mithlond - how would things end up? I, for one thing would be incredibly enraged!

I can honestly say that you're one of the most talented writers I've ever had the chance of reading; and I totally admire your persistence and dedication to creating and writing so many tales! I don't think I'd have the determination to complete even a single tale! Let alone dozens! Sorry it took me so long to comment - about 6 months - I just wanted to finish all your written tales! And I wait in anticipation for the next update!!

Thanks for sharing!
Iz. smilie

Thanks for reviewing and yeah, Boromir continues to be more of an arrogant idiot than anything else. But, that's how I made him to begin with and it would not be possible for him to do a complete 180, not without something terribly dramatic and distressing, so we are stuck with him like this. in the book he had to die before he figured it out, sheesh. wait till you see him next, making sure everybody else in the Fellowship knows he and Legolas are buddies now. gag. smilie i guess i am being a little hard on him. thanks again smilie

MessageJust finished the update of Cuthenin. Oh my god, Boromir was so clumsy. I was always like: "Oh no, don't say anything more!" But finally they managed a kind of truce somehow and even had some sad memories about their mothers in common.
