| Message | hi Landruillin  I know, another cliff hanger, but i am plunging on and determined to finish this so the wait will not be long.  It's all a misunderstanding; Legolas does not know what Aragorn thinks he knows and Aragorn does not believe Legolas would betray him, he just knows that everyone has limits where torture is concerned. Aragorn and Legolas need the time it takes to make this journey to sort all this out, but i will not make it go on for days and they will reach Greenwood quickly. thank you so much for all the kind words |

| Message | hi Anfalas i know, but i had to stop - it was getting monstrously long. at least there was some info and we know the Rohirrim are not really evil here, nor did the Wood Elves kill anybody. We'll learn more about this Ari character in time, i promise, and i will try to get to it soon.  so pleased you liked the lighter touch at the beginning poor Legolas, he really seems sold on Aragorn and now we see he has suffered great losses recently. it's a shame the man rejected him. there are lots of clues in this chapter about what happened to him, but some are deliberately misleading, too  |

| Message | hi Anfalas Oh yes he did indeed you are right, Legolas does not realise how difficult he is making things for his potential lovers. Well, his seduction was rather selfish, a desire to test his power of allure, but i doubt he was prepared to go farther than that kiss. Aragorn was wise to pull back. His feelings for Elladan are tarnished now, his interpretation of the brothers' duelling much like Idrê's. Events will conspire to emphasise that view, at least fr a time. a three-way - -hmmmmmmm can neither confirm nor deny the possibility thank you somuch and Happy New Year to you too |

Why did he try to seduce Aragorn (oh yes, he did) when he is in love with Elladan? Well, maybe he really is too young and naive to know.
