thank you smilie yes, i think Legolas has some doubts about Aragorn's truthfulness when he talks about healing smilie The man is subconsciously getting the idea and resisting - that is what confuses Legolas so much. this could be trouble if Aragorn flat out refuses him. the conflict with the Rohirrim will be resolved, but i don't know if peaceful is the right way to describe it. but no one dies smilie thank you again smilie

thank you for coming over here and leaving a review at 'home' smilie i am so glad you have not lost sight of Legolas' reasons for being in the 'right place' to save Aragorn's hide. now that we know of the trouble between Rohan and Greenwood, that starts to look more ominous. well, the unpleasant truth will come out. yes, Aragorn is a little clueless about what is going on and where it is leading, though subconsciously he has begun to suspect. and poor Legolas was naked for three chapter! now all he gets is an old dirty shirt! yes, there is more humour here than in most of the other stories, except balrog perhaps.glad you find it refreshing. i find i need it to get through the other stuff. thank you again for a double review smilie

Requests?A little insight to something...
MessageSorry, me again! But there's something going round and round my head for ages!

I just wandered what if (a very big IF), Legolas arrived safely in Mithlond...how would you have portrayed his emotions and reaction to realizing the truth of his travel. What would he do? What would Lord Galdor be like? What would Galberth think of his parents sending his little brother to be bonded with someone Legolas had never met? What would Legolas think of his parents? Would he bear a child with Galdor?

Sorry about all the questions but ever since I read through 'Aearlinn' again the cliff hanger has just got me thinking about the possibilities if Legolas and his brother weren't attacked by orcs - the only time my miind will rest is if you tell me how you would of illustrated all the 'ifs'????

I know, I know I've gone off again!! I can't help it! I just get soooo drawn into your work!! You write absolutely amazingly!!! Can't wait for another update on whatever tale your continuing at the moment!

Your Favourite StoryTo Resist Both Wind and Tide
MessageVery interesting new chapter! I love the cute and candid chapter ending - with Legolas asking Aragorn if he could sleep without being disturbed. The subtle underlying humour in this story makes a great change from your other more tragedy-themed tales (although those story types are, most definitely my favourite)!

Hmm..something very strange is going on amongst the men from Rohan and Legolas - I wonder what's causing them to accuse each other! It'd be exciting to find out who was behind it all.

I can't wait until Aragorn fully comprehends the aspects of sharing their 'light'. And I wander what Arwen would think?? In 'Aearlinn' she was irrationally jealous over the thought of not being the youngest child anymore - so I could only imagine her shock and anger towards Legolas in this matter (that's if of course she has the same characteristics in this little tale)!

Anywhoo...thanks for the update can't wait to read more!

Messageyeah, wind and tide update!
I loved it, I cannot imagine what was it for Legolas to find out Aragorn has no idea what the exchange of light entails... and Aragorn himself is in for the shock of his life!
I hope the situation with the Rohirrim will be solved peacefully, it is obvious someone conspired to spread enmities between the two nations.
as always, thank you!

MessageHooray, a "Wind and tide" update! But still no clues why Legolas was tortured and by whom, why Rohan and Mirkwood are at the brink of war, how Aragorn is supposed to "relight" Legolas. But I thought it very awkward that Legolas was naked all the time. That would be very embarassing (but nice to see...).

wow, what a remarkable note smilie so many nice things you have said - so many compliments - and i appreciate your kindness very much indeed. the Feud update is really tearing me a part and so it really helps to hear from folks who enjoy the work i put into the stories.

i agree, Fractured Light is due for a long update. I just have to get through this particular part of Feud first. have to. send good thoughts so i can get it finished and move on to other things more pleasant to write and to read.

it may surprise you to know that i have not decided who Legolas will end up with in FL. I have it plotted out both ways, but can't decide yet. the suitors have to win me over as much as Legolas smilie on the one hand, i feel Elrond needs healing and the relationship would be good for them both. On the other hand, i feel Erestor 'sees' Legolas more clearly than Elrond does. And who does Thranduil really want his son to end up with?

well, it is all up in the air for me, too. I will try to get to FL after the Feud update, along with another Aearlinn update, and must go on with folly and fate, too. much to do!

please keep positive thoughts flowing my way so i can finish this Feud chapter and move on. thank you again so much for your feedback, mellon smilie

Your Favourite StoryFractured Light
Requests?A very looooooong update! (...please?...)
How did you find me?Lotr Fanfiction
MessageI'm absolutely hooked on your enthralling tale 'Fractured Light'! The whirlwind of emotions Legolas goes through is beautifully written from heartfelt depression to boiling anger at his brother. I'm obsessed with your work! It still amazes me how you can switch from short sweet tales like 'Leonalta' and still maintain that signature dark twist - which makes my stomach twist and turn, to lengthy romantic and complex story plots like 'Aearlinn'! Which may I add is amazing, I'm sure I've read it about 4 times through! And it seems to be just getting all the more better, with Aras pent out in an irrational need for revenge! And, oh! What will happen when Legolas gives birth? The possibilities my mind has been wandering!

But back to 'Fractured Light' - I'm curious to find out will Legolas fall for Elrond (as amazingly put in 'Aearlinn'smilie or with Erestor (which I can only really picture in 'Feud' and 'Hir o Meril Thaifn'smilie?! I'm absolutely bursting with anticipation over all your unfinished stories! Till your next update! x
