| Message | This is a thank you. We've been struggling with a non-working LAN for months, ever since we left dialup and a hub and moved to DSL and a router. We finally discovered the Microsoft discussion groups, which led us to your website via one of your responses, and then we started finding real solutions. So far, we've managed to get our two computers seeing each other, to access files on each others' computers, and to print from our newer computer via the old printer connected to the old computer. We have yet to figure out why we can't get a shared internet connection to work, but we're still searching and now we're optimistic. (You may see a request for help on the board, if we don't find an answer on your site or the other postings.) Since we've learned that NO ONE will support networks, your site is a fabulous find and quite a relief. THANK YOU!! |
