| Message | Your insights on this blog helped me solve a frustrating networking problem on Nov 29. A new laptop would not cooperate in joining my XP home network. The solution came when I found that two firewalls were running, the Windows firewall and one from Symantec that came with the new laptop. Disabling the Symantec firewall did the trick. Thanks for your help! Dave |
