MessageJust wanted to say "hello" and "Thank You!" Your articles and/or links to helpful forums and/or websites have been a wealth of knowledge towards improving my learning curve on home PC networking/troubleshooting/security.

While I was able to fix most of my PC problems on my own, the information gained from reading the reference souces you have provided was very beneficial. Instruction manuals sometimes just don't go deep enough into addressing some PC problems intuitively. Your resources really cut to the chase and get to the nuts and bolts of the problem.

Thank you so very much. And do keep up the good work!

MessageFound your site when i started to search the web's MVP for help with my problem.
Windows cannot display the properties of this connection (WMI). It all started when my son could not print from his PC to my printer, then we found out that we could not share files either on the networking setup. Not sure when it happened (assume mid Dec) but i could not use system restore to get back past Jan 01. So the search continues for a solution. Hopefully, i will find an answer in your information.

MessageChuck! Thank you SO much. A colleague & I have been working for a week, trying to get a laptop to recognize our wireless router-based workgroup/network. YOUR post was the first I had heard anyone suggest checking the node type. It turned out he as peer-to-peer. After changing to Broadcast (thanks to your GREAT instructions) it worked like a dream. Could IE 7 have done this? That was the last known change.

ANYWAY-- you're a genius. Thanks from the Netherlands!

MessageLike to bounce this off you. My blog's been flagged as a splog. I've clicked through the Captcha at least three dozen times over the past several weeks to submit a request for review, but haven't heard a peep out o' them.

Any ideas, suggestions, comments?

Thanks again; definitely appreciate it.

Messagesmilie I seem to be spending more time trying to configure the new layout of Blogger instead of writing books, blogging and marketing. Seemingly simple things are taking me ages. I hope you can help or advise.

I want to include summaries of posts to click and direct to the full post. A lot of the help pages distinguish between classic (my old blog) and layout. I read help and it talks about CSS and style sheets. Can I find my style sheets? Can I hell? I could insert the code if I knew where they were. I've tried 'edit html' and that's not it.

I just want to start discussions so that people can comment and those comments can be listed by headline and eventually edited or deleted. Same with post - headlines, a few words and a link.

Also, I used to have an RSS/atom feed address on the last blog so that I could submit to directories. That appears to have changed. How do I do this now?

Sorry for the questions but I do hope you can help.

Regards

Hi David,

You are asking about things which I am pretty sure are possible, but I have not yet done. As I do these things, I hope to publish articles about them. Until then, I highly recommend that you ask for advice in the Blogger Help Forums.

Using the forums is good for everybody.

Cheers,

Chuck
