MessageHey Chuck, love your site..

I need help please...

I work for a small auto part store. we have 2 stores, the main store has a main computer, we have a direct link to our other store with dummy terminals, and on pc running power term. this on pc has 2 ethernet cards. one I have connected to the router for the dummy terminals, the other i have connected to a modem for internet. the power term program works only when i disable the other card, and the same goes for the internet. i must disable one to use the other. I would like to be able to use both at the same time. can you help, and if so is there any info that you would need to know?

thanks Rob... smilie

Hi Rob,

I think that your problem can be best dealt with by our using standard troubleshooting diagnostics, in an open forum. Please see This Article, I think it will get you started.

Cheers,

Chuck

MessageChuck,

Best networking resource yet!

After years of muddling through file sharing issues and workarounds maybe, just maybe, I'll get it right.

Beginning to understanding what's in the black box is a beginning.

Thank you

MessageThe information you have shared has proven invaluable. I had previously attempted to "Forrest Gump" my way through wireless networking with having any specific knowledge. Thank you very much!

MessageHi Chuck,
I've been reviewing your website and really appreciate the GREAT advice. Wish I understood it better. Most of this computer language is way above my head. Looks like spam in the network arena is your primary concern. I'll keep reading and see what I can glean.
Thanks, Jim
