| Message | I'm a self-taught computer user. I installed a wireless network via a DSL box and Linksys router. Apart from a few randon problems (because my 16yr old is constantly installing stuff) there are few problems - except the one laptop running XP-Pro that I can never get to file/printer share. It has connectivity with Internet via PCM-CIA card, but never sees the other machines (therefore not their printers). Thanks for your site. I appreciate your clarity and practical help! |

| Message | Thanks for the comprehensive information and troubleshooting tool (cdiag.cmd) and instruction on how to use it. I've been battling a peer-to-peer networking problem here on and off since last August. Your site provided the assistance that I hadn't been able to find anywhere else, including Microsoft. Everyone else says "try this" or "try that", but nowhere did I find a logical stepwise troubleshooting methodology until I happened across your site. Your tools allowed me to find and remedy the problem in about three hours. Thanks again. Larry |
