MessageWhat a wonderful website. My grandfather spoke of this place rarely, but it was known as the families' home. My parents actually visited there a couple years back, but they only had an afternoon to spend, and it was on a weekend. So lots of pictures, but no chance to really get to enjoy the place...I hope it get to see the mountains...some day.

MessageI have a friend named Linda Thiel. Fathers name Donato Palizzi born in Toricella. Grandfathers name Carmine Palizzi. I know she still has relatives there, first cousin named Amabelia ( not sure of the spelling) and would like to contact them. She does not have a computer at this time so all correspondence would be thru me at first.

Roberto Vittorioso.

MessageHi Maria,

Thanks for that info. We'd intended to go to the beach at Francavilla al Mare so maybe we'll stop in Lanciano which is close to Francavilla. I've heard it's a quaint town. I think after 3 days in Rome we'll look forward to the slower pace of Torricella. I also received some good advice from a co-worker, Giuseppe DiValerio, who emigrated from Fallascoso in 1960 and from a gentleman named Carlo Liberati who is a friend of the creators of this web page.

Regards, Marc
