Just to let you know that Geordie (Brian) Brittain is very ill. They found that he has a brain tumour, the only thing they can do is to give him steriods in hope that it will reduce the size of it. MessageDear Sir
I found this site by accident looking for any information on Ron North whose medals I have just bought, I have read the thread on Radfan which has a photo of him and it's nice to put a face to a name. I am not a medal dealer just a private collector interested in the Paras
(my father served 3 Para).
I would like to make contact if possible to learn of his service history.

Yours Sincerely

Andy Crunden ..... email [email protected]

MessageUnsure if anyone can help on this. I think permission by Brian may be needed.

I hope that this message finds you well, we were in contact a few weeks ago about Remembrance Week. Thanks again for posting the message on the message board for me. We were since in touch with Brian Faulkner, and we are going to be filming an interview with him for the series. However, unfortunately Brian only has very few photos of himself both in the Falklands and in 3 Para, and I wonder whether you may know of anyone who has any photos that Brian might be in:

- Group photos with Brian in

- Individual images of Brian

- Images of Mount Longdon, Falklands

- Photos from shortly before the deployment to the Falklands

- Photos of the 3 Para Rugby Club in Aldershot, prior to the Falklands (Brian used to coach the rugby team in Aldershot)

This is quite a long shot, but I thought I’d ask anyway in the off chance that there is someone sitting around with such pictures! I’d be over the moon if someone did.
