| Message | I have just been informed by his stepdaughter that Geordie (Brian) Britton a member of the battalion from the late sixties/ early seventies has passed away after a long illness. As John Hill advised on the message board 23/08/12 Brian was found to have a brain tumour which was inoperable and it was the case of making him comfortable until the end. Our heart felt condolences are with Brian’s family and our thoughts are with them at this sad time. When I am informed of the funeral arrangements I will post them immediately on the message board. |

| Message | Hello Terry, with regard to the Memorial at the National Arboretum, Pegasus, the Airborne soldier and the surround are magnificent. However there is a lot of discussion going on reference the PARA cap badge which is not as it should be ? You may be aware that I am the PRA Vice Chairman, George Duffus & John Carey have made their feelings known very strongly, I have just added mine to theirs, with a letter to the Regimental Colonel.I do hope we can resolve the situation to the satisfaction of us all soon. Regards to all..... JJ |
