MessageDon't know if this message got through to the guestbook the last time I sent it, but I'll ask again. If anyone has any photos of John Early, would they be so kind as to let me know.

Thanks,

MessageThank you the guys who responded to my asking about Gibby
It was very good of you.
I see on my missive I spelt Gibbys wife’s name wrong!
It should have been Helen.

MessageHi guys, does anyone remember John Early from Barnsley? He was in 'A' company in the early '70s. The reason I ask is because his granddaughter has been informed that I served wih him. She asked me if I had any photos because she never met him, I sadly had to says no. So, if anyone does remember John and has any photos of him, in any shape or form, would you kindly send me copies to my email shown above; it would make a young girl very happy.
Thanks,
Jim 'Easy' Ryder

MessageHello Dave H, Doug Rogers and Wrockwardine Wanderer.
I’ve just been reading your missives about Suez, I was too young! However, I knew a few you mentioned, Joe Grout, a great Guy.
You also mentioned Gibby. Gibby and I were big pals whilst in 3 Para. However, we lost touch. I’m keen to try and get hold of him again. I spoke to him and Heken on the phone about 3 years ago and I think he said they were moving to India,
If either of you have and contact details please e mail them to me at. [email protected]
Or via Terry!
I’d be most appreciative.
Sorry to read about Moonie Walters, my platoon and I were attached from C Company to B Company for that Radafan Operation. When B Coy went back we stayed down there with C Coh for the rest of that operation.
Chay Blyth
