MessageSmudge Smith 24 and I attended the funeral of Joe Grout on 11 Oct 16 at Worthing. Joe had a good send off, there was a large attendance with standard bearers and a Guardsman sounding the last post and reveille. It was a shame that we couldn't stop and meet up with Joe's family and friends but we did have to travel back to Telford and Halifax that day. RIP Joe you will be well remembered, a legend.

The funeral of 23487700 Pte Graham Stringer, who died on Sunday 9th October 2016 aged 77 years, will take place at 1150hrs on Tuesday 1st November 2016 at Lincoln Crematorium, Washingborough Road, Lincoln LN4 1EF.

Graham served with 3 PARA and was a member of Lincoln Branch.
