| Message | Just a quick update on Jimmy & Liz Hamilton, went around to see Jimmy and Liz this morning. Both in very good spirit, Jimmy continuing with his chemo, and it seems to be doing the trick, he has put weight on which is another good sign. He has been accepted for this new American treatment so fingers crossed on that. Liz doing
well. Jim sends his best to all and is going to try and make the next reunion. Nice to see all the signal lads at the reunion. Once again the committee done us proud. |

| Message | John Hill - like Donny sorry to hear about Jimmy Hamilton and his wife. Although he isn't a member of the Club he was a long standing member of the battalion and he might appreciate a visit. We have an old address in the Peterborough area - if anyone could visit? Bookings for Blackpool - there is another function being held at the hotel when we are there and they want to sell any rooms that we don't take. Therefore we have to put in a final list next week. | Message | I bumped intoJimmy Hamilton yesterday. DId not recognise him until he spoke to me.I only saw him a few months ago .He has lost 3 stone due to cancer. But he was his usual cheerful self and not complaining. He is getting chimo treatment and said it seems to be doing the job. On top of this his wife had a stroke sometime ago, she is bed ridden and unable to speak. Jimmy did not mind me informing friends of his illness. I will keep in touch with him. |

| Message | The death of my good friend Mick McIntyre has shocked me beyond belief. I always thought of him as invincible. He will be sadly missed by both myself and my family, but we will remember him forever. He ius an Airborne legend. |
