| Message | Maj. Jim Churchouse died last week after a long illness. Ex OC JPC. His Funeral is 1300 hrs 2 Nov at St Michaels Church Aldershot. Followed by burial at Ald Mil Cemetery. Then on to the Traf. He was 3 Para in Osnabruk. RIP. |

| Message | As you will have read from George D's post, Alan 'Smudge' Smith sadly passed away unexpectedly on Saturday. Smudge and Paula attended every Reunion that I can remember and he was a 3 Para man through and through. Can I pass on condolences to Paula and family on behalf of all members of the Club. R.I.P. | Message | Gentlemen just a quick note to remind you that on the proform being post out to all our members for a request for tickets for the next reunion in March 2018 includes a box for members to provide there email addresses could I ask you all please to complete and provide your email address. It is by far the easiest way to pass on information to you because of the increasing cost of mailing information to our members. Currently we have over 500 members X this by 65p the cost of 1st class stamp costs us £325.00 we have to do this again to get the tickets to members so hopefully you all completely understand why your committee had requested this information from the membership so if you could all please action the request and return it to the Secretary Gary Teale even if you are not attending the Reunion I thank you all in aticipation and your kind assistance and look forward to seeing you all in Blackpool in 2018 GDD (Vice Chairman) |

| Message | It with a sad heart that I must inform you all that my good friend Alan Smudge Smith passed away today I have no further information but I have spoken to Paula and her family are by her side. I will visit tomorrow and get the fullest of information. My heart felt condolences are with Paula and the family at this sad time. I will miss our regular visits to each other and my heart aches in the loss of Smudge my greatest of friends. I have attached a photo on FB of a Anti Tank PL patrol in Bessbrooke in 1974 when we were sent to Support 7 RHA. Smudge is on the left of the photo carrying his beloved GPMG and was later to become the MMG PL Sgt 3 Para where he served most of his 24 year service. As soon as I have further details from I will inform all. Smudge my heart aches today for you And I cannot express in words at the moment. | Message | Morning guys. My father was ex 3 para and died in a horrific parachute accident in 1970 two months after i was born. He entangled with a sergeant who he was jumping with both died at scene. Would be nice to see if any one remembers him or any one who has pictures of him.
