| Message | Hi all, just to inform you that Derek (Digger) Coulson recently passed away after a period of illness. He was a member of 3 Para band for many years and after leaving the band served in other units for I believe a total service of 40 plus years. The funeral was attended by large number of ex band and Drums. RIP |

If you can't help can you point me in the right direction I am hoping someone will remember him, I can remember he broke his neck and could no longer parachute he just got a job as s TA recruiter in Hereford but he never knew as the letter came aft he died. | Message | Thanks for posting that John. Just to add a bit, I am keen to find out who Keith was with during the battle on Longdon. We spoke about it a few times but I can't recall him telling me. I was down there 4 years ago whilst still a FS with the RAF and paid a visit to Longdon to pay my respects to Keith and all who fought there. I'd just like to know what company he was with so I can trace his movements during the battle. He was a bit of a hero of mine in all honesty. Sadly missed. |
