Definitely C Coy Ned, not sure why his medals are for sale, would never put him down to the sentimental type, so maybe just having a clear out!

Apparently I didnt serve in the Regt. 24576874 Iknow,CROW!) does not exist. Michael Southall never served in the Parachute Regiment. The North Wales PRA think Im a liar.Thankyou very much RHQ, perhaps you would like my medals back as well? smilie smilie

I believe by the army number that this would be the later Ned Kelly & not someone of the Borneo era.

A bit strange it is only 1 medal, Ned had @ least 3 others. was in Dublin with Sammy Doc last weekend, great craic, but lost comms with him Sunday morning. JR

MessageNed Kelly - I believe that his GSM could or should include Radfan, Borneo and N.Ireland Clasps. If anyone interested I have a photo of Ned with young Punan lady taken in Borneo 1966.

I also have other photos of Sammy Doc, Alec Honey, Bob Green, Chick Clarke, Jimmy Welsh, Sean Fitzsimons, Alan Holdsworth, McTavish, Barry Williams, 'Dad' Robo, Dinga Bell, Dimmmock, Trev Humphries, Bill Atkinson plus one ot two others whose names escape me plus various Punan personalities eg Bawi, Kilat, Ninyang, Neegow etc.

MessageHad phone call from a mate who collects medals last night asking did I know anything about 24265092 Ned Kelly ex 3 Para and wounded in Falklands. His N.I Medal (only)is up for auction in London. Spoke to Sammy Doc on phone last night and informed him though thought some of you 3 Para lads might be interested.
