| Message | Just found the site, had a great hour or so going through the photo's and the guestbook. Great memories come flooding back when I see names like Sammy Doc, Blandy, McTash, Terry Carrol,Simmo etc etc. So sorry to see that Mick McMahon if no longer with us. Working in Nigeria at the moment but will be joining the club on my return. Interesting to see George Monroe's photo's, especially as I now have a house in Kota Kinabalu formally Jesselton. | Message | RE: Bert Hughes MBE Bert's funeral is now 1400 hrs on Friday 3rd July at All Souls RC Church, Park Road, Peterborough. PE1 2RS. After the funeral, Bert will be taken to be buried in the Church in Islip near Kettering. The RV for the service on Friday is The College Arms, Broadway nr Town Centre @1300 hrs. Tel: 01733-319745. The Church is at the junction of Park Road and Geneva St. I cannot link the location map for All Souls RC Church on this message because links are blocked. The post code will be good enough for SatNav and Multimap. It would appear that some people did not get the cancellation message in time and turned up yesterday. If there are any changes I’ll notify using the FB page / 3 Para Reunion site as soon as I know. To avoid any problems, if you hear something new please let me know so I can make as many people aware as possible. I realise that this date clashes with ABF South but I hope it will not reduce the turnout. Thanks Phil |
