| Message | I was on the Spangler in 1954 & 55 when we were station ship in Hong Cong. I left the ship in the Philippines to go to Sub School and spent the rest of my 20 years on Subs. It is good to see the names of some of the people that were on board when I was. I still am in contact with Russell Nelson who I went to EM school with and we went on board Spangler together. I was great looking at all the pictures that youhave on the web site. May be I can make a reunion one of these times. Keep up the good work. |

| Message | I am President of CORTRON 3 Association of which your ship was a part of Cortdiv 31 and Cortron 3. Contact me if you have any questions. CORTRON 3 holds reunions for all Cortron 3 ships every 18 months. Next reunion is scheduled for spring of 2008 at San Diego. Great website and very well done. Enjoyed looking at it and copies some things for my files as well. |
