| Message | Hello, Greetings from Oregon. Found another crew member for you. My father, Paul D. Haertel, served aboard the USS Spangler for part of 1951 and 1952. He is alive and well in Aloha, Oregon. There is a photo, 1952 Gunnery Division, which I believe shows my father. Second row, 4 1/2 sailors from the left,the short guy with his hat tilted. | Message | Hi Andy! I saw the perfect vehichle for you yesterday: a firetruck converted into a mobile RV. It looked more like an Army MRAP than a firetruck on the outside but was really classy on the interior. Anyway, if you ever tire of visiting Firetruck Shows, you can always put that beautiful vehicle of yours to another good use. Ha! |
