MessageI was stationed at K.I. from Sept 1963 thru Aug 1966. Assigned to 410 Bomb Wing; worked as ECM Tech on the B-52H. My wife and I visited the museum in June; you folks have done an excellent job!!! Thank You !!!! We have made many trips over the years to the U.P., visiting my lovely wife's family. My first daughter was born at the base hospital on a very snowy Dec. day.
We were living in Gwinn at the time and skated in HO! HO! We then moved to base housing 105 Constellation St. Driving through the base at the present time is very sad; so many buildings are in disrepair. Seems like years ago and it also seems like yesterday. I might be getting old!!!
