| Message | I agree Pappy, but my fear is a Democratic White House, a majority in the House and a filibuster proof majority in the Senate... There will be virtually zero checks and balances, and the three people in charge, Obama, Pelosi and Reid, who are three of the leftest leaning people in government will be able to push through whatever legislation they like without any challenge whatsoever... Of course that may be a necessary thing that has to happen to get people to wake up. imo anyway... |

| Message | Kendster - lol! I sit around and eat bon bons and watch soap operas all day! ha!! Okay, we BOTH know that's not true. Actually, if my health were like YOURS, I'd be making 1,000 cards a DAY! One day, girl, one day!! Okay, it's RARE that Andy and I give one another gifts on our anniversary(ies) [though I DID get Tiffany's jewelry on our 12th anniversary... but that was a one-time thing ], but we do like to use that day to go on a cheap date, or even just to remind each other how happy we are to still be married to each other. I think we'll keep both. ![]() Pappy - I'm glad you didn't get angry. Gina - you and I could go back and forth on politics all day. But we know this. lol. My main concern with Obama is that he'll turn us into a social-ist country. And I feel the only people he is uniting are the liberals - um, I'm not liberal and agree with none of his agenda. So yeah. ![]() |

| Message | Love the play by play photo show Nice colors, yeah fall is gorgeous, if only it weren't over SO SOON! The whole anniversary thing...pick ONE and go with it. You just want more stuff, so you say you have 2 anniversaries!!!You must, and I repeat, MUST get a good photo for the Christmas cards...that will be your only redemption since I am not getting a super cute handmade one, although really, you do have plenty of time, what with only having 5 kids, and shoving most of them in school all day!! What do you do all day, really? ![]() Yeah, I NEVER check my gas gauge, and am like, oh, I am below E ![]() |

| Message | Matthew, I'm afraid you are right. When I think that I am living in the twilight of the republic, I just want to weep. And yet, even in its decline the United States of America is an amazing and wonderful place. As I survey our globe I still see no place I would rather be, no place where the light of liberty shines brighter than it does here, even as the flame flickers and fades. My prayer is that whichever party wins the presidency the other party will control the congress. |

| Message | Petra, I loved the pictures and none of the captions made me angry. Brittany, I could not make up my mind between Barr or Baldwin. I'm voting today for Barr and its your doings. Gina, Whatever else Obama brings, he will not bring unity. If he wins and, in a nightmare scenario, the Demoncrats control the congress, I will hate evey law that gets passed. I will not be alone in that. Unity. When he says unity I believe he means to bring about an appearance of unity by silencing his critics and making an already out of control federal government even bigger and stronger. He says unity, but it is a code word for control and compliance by force. |

| Message | Matt, I have to disagree with you, at least from my standpoint. I'm voting for Obama, not because he is going to help me out anymore than McCain, but because I believe he will bring UNITY more so than McCain, which is what I think our country needs; acceptance of a diverse population, with diverse issues that need to be dealt with in an effective way, not the stagnating ways our country has been dealing with issues. Sorry for the really long run-on sentence there ![]() |

| Message | Speaking of Obama and McCain (not that everyone was), I don't think it much matters really, it can all be summed up with one line by Ben Franklin: "When the people find they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." It seems when you hear people talking about this election, that is what is most peoples main concern, who is promising 'me' the most and who will take care of 'me' the best... Stunning really... |
