| Message | Dear Mercer Family, We are all saddened to hear of the loss of young Daniel and wish to extend our deepest sympathies. We have followed your family’s journey through these trying times and the character with which your family has conducted themselves is truly astounding. Jeff, I have had the privilege of working for you and with Jeffery and although I did not really know Daniel, the amount of time I spent with the two of you leaves no doubt in my mind the type of individual he was. When I was coaching, it always amazed me how you and Pam were able to raise this family of boys, have them in multiple activities, always be on time, and have such well behaved children. As a parent now, the aforementioned things blow my mind. Pam, I'm sure much of that is an attest to your strength. When your family came to town you came into a tough situation. Many viewed you as outsiders and were unsure of the decision to bring you in as the coach. Let me just say what a blessing it is to have your family as a part of this community. Your family represents all that is good in the world. This community is not only a better place for having had Daniel, but for having your whole family. The selflessness of your family for sharing your's and Daniel's story is admirable and will not be forgotten. Daniel has gone onto a better place and may we all cherish each and every day until we may walk with him. God Bless Your Family
